FT Permanent Service Writer Position – Heavy Duty Parts & Service Industry

Our client is looking for a positive energetic individual for SERVICE WRITER in Lloydminster with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
This candidate will be an integral part of the team providing premier customer service to the branch where necessary.

The Position:
 -Maintains accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service department’s operation
 -Assure that all charges related to work orders are posted properly and closed on a timely basis
 -Process warranty and Product Improvement Claims.
 -Open work orders as directed by the Service Manager and maintain control until closed and invoiced.
 -Handles Repair Order charges, warranty validation & claims coverage’s including computation of charges, submission and follow-up
 -Files bulletins, manuals, video tapes, etc. under the direct supervision of the Service Manager.
 -Assembles all types of equipment and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealership
 -Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns
 -Treat customers fairly and with honesty, and demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices
 -Be early, flexible and available for scheduling
 -Maintain up to date technical training
 -Ability to negotiate customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution
 -Good computer skills • Knowledge of office procedures • Good organizational ability • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms

The Candidate:
 -2+ years working in a service dept, and service writing industrial experience preferred
 -Outgoing, friendly personality and superior communication & customer service skills
 -Individual must be flexible, have winning attitude, positive team player
 -Highly organized, great attention to detail
 -Intermediate level of expertise using MS Excel, and MS Word.
 -Quick learner of new and existing products
 -Access information, determines and addresses problem areas, formulate relevant solutions, and present the solution effectively
 -Work under pressure and meet deadlines, maintain a pleasant, professional attitude towards customers and co-workers
 -Flexible, dependable, excel and master their position as well as assist where and when needed
