Payroll & Benefits Administrator

Our client, a long-standing well respected provider to the Lloydminster community, is seeking a highly qualified Payroll & Benefits Administrator with knowledge of HR being an asset.

Offering

Required Knowledge/Attributes

  • Understanding accounting software
  • Administration and processing of extensive payroll of varying schedules and group benefits
  • Calculating monthly pay adjustments and retro pay increases
  • Processing timesheets, ROE’s, T4’s and monthly reconciliations
  • Applicable legislation governing payroll and related employee deductions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Be self-directed, task and goal oriented
  • Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize multiple demands and effectively manage time
  • Highly technical, ability to perform meticulous and accurate data entry and calculation tasks

Education & Qualifications

  • Post secondary courses in accounting or payroll management, PCP or equivalent an asset
  • 3 – 5 years payroll experience in a medium to large sized organization
  • Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector check
